Can you name the fifty most successful movies of all time (U.S. domestic) as measured by the Bigdog Popularity Index (BPI)? (Defined in How To Play, as of February 2016)
A "successful" movie is one that makes money, is critically acclaimed, enjoyed by audiences, and stands the test of time. "BPI" is a stat that I made up to measure all of this. The formula is Gross Box Office Revenue (adjusted for inflation, click source) x Rotten Tomatoes Critics Score x Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score. This is a variable stat, box office numbers go up, and R.T. ratings can go up or down, which is why the date is important.
Subtitles are accepted for franchise movies.
