It's astounding how small privileged elites in petrol states such as the UAE have enough money to bring their countries to the top of this list despite a large underclass of poorly paid laborers.

@Seuss: the large underclass of poorly paid laborers are mostly migrants from foreign countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Sudan, etc. The Emirati, Qatari, Kuwaiti, Bahraini Arabs have uniformly high income levels for the most part.

Why is Denmark a bonus, and marked that it is connected by tunnel? It does share a land border with Germany.

carbon_rod: Denmark is connected by a bridge and tunnel to Sweden.

@Arnoldschwa & ChanandlerBong - The creator of the quiz is presumably using the statistics from the IMF in his indicated source which doesn't include entries for either Liechtenstein or Monaco. Nor San Marino, for that matter.

FWIW, Singapore is only connected to Malaysia by bridges. It's usually deemed to "border" Malaysia, but maybe it should get an asterisk here.

Denmark has a lower GDP/capita than Sweden according to two of the three reports on the wiki page cited as this quiz's source. Denmark is richer than Germany on two of the three reports. So Denmark should be on the quiz as a non-bonus (since it is richer than its land neighbor), and affirmatively NOT as a bonus (because it is poorer than its bridge neighbor).
