Was it your intention that typing "go" would reveal three upper-case four-letter words instead of just one for starters?

Yes, I am always about people getting stuck on the first word so I decided to give everyone a bit of a head start and a chance to see the pattern for those unfamiliar with the concept.

The comments are not coming up for me, so i dont know if anyone noticed, but I got pair, fair, and fail all at once. was that intentional?

Typing 'help' still shows a couple of answers, but in a broken kind of way... probably a side-effect of the new 'go' system. You need to take the 'help' answers out!

@Matty: Thanks - I knew there was something I forgot to test after changing that - it has been fixed.

Sorry about that, I inadvertently removed the / when making changes...it should work properly now.

Good ladder! No cheating on this one-- you really have to get pretty much all of the answers to beat it.

Liked the bonus answers! Definitely was a facepalm moment when it pointed out I could have just copied the text of the walls...

Curse my wimpish ways. I was stuck on the 'Nut's partner' clue for a couple minute because the only thing that entered my head was the food. I don't like when my lack of DIY skills comes back to bite me and on Sporcle of all places.

I, like someone else said above, also got stuck thinking of "nut" as a food or tree nut, and because BOAT was before it, I had "Oat" stuck in my head and couldn't get it out... And for small nail, I was thinking fingernails and was stuck wondering if there was another name for the pinky nail... Time for bed.

Did anyone else have an issue where the cell for "commercial transaction" pushed the rest of that column down? I spent a solid 3 minutes trying to figure out what was a synonym for "break; shatter" that i could get from "Pest" because it was skewed...maybe that was a hint? As always, a blast nonetheless.

Umm... is it supposed to automatically fill in three of the answers as soon as I hit "Play"?

There really weren't a lot of plausible alternative routes for this, and many unique nodes (where all the other routes were clearly clocked) so it wasn't as much of a maze as earlier laddyrinths. I have a few minor quibbles with pairs like notoriety:fame and clever:wise, but otherwise the verbal ("Laddy") part of this is fine.

I also had trouble with "small nail"-- I kept reading it as "small snail." Oops. Fun quiz! I like these laddyrinths.

"Suffer" is a verb & not a synonym for "pain"--a noun. Perhaps "suffering" (which can be a noun)?
