Another fun variation in the evolution of the word ladder. FYI you need to fix the spelling on Machu Picchu.

It took me a long time to figure out the direction of the loops. Once I did that, the game was fun.

good game but the clue for amok isn't very accurate in my opinion

Thanks everyone. @aipiest: I was having a lot trouble coming up with a clue for amok and that is the definition given by Merriam-Webster. I have to admit it didn't sound quite right to me either but I trust them much more than I trust my brain (and I don't have a better way to word it).

@betraisefold--maybe make "clockwise" ALL CAPS--I didn't notice it till I finished.

I think the issue with AMOK is that nobody ever uses it as a noun. At times like this you might just check xwordinfo.com to see how it's usually clued in the NYT crossword: [wildly], [confusedly], [a bad way to run], [in a frenzied manner], and just plain ol' [running ____] seem like good candidates.

@ostroffj: I try to avoid using xwordinfo but in this case I have made an exception - thanks for the help.

I liked how after we typed "Go", the first word began with go. Was that planned? count me as another who couldn't figure out how the loop worked. I thought it was all one big loop, not four smaller ones. nice job, however.

Not sure if it's possible, but it would make it so much clearer if the loops were separate by colour.

@cocky: Yes, I'm pretty sure that was planned, it was a while ago though. @debaser_1985: That would be a great feature, hopefully sometime in the future we'll be able to do that.

I did better when I gave up trying to loop and just guessed 4-letter words. Fun anyway, and agree color could have helped.

Interesting how there are 6 loops of 4 words each, but when you finish them all, it says you got 48 correct! I guess it's counting all the clues as well.

The ulna is an arm bone, not a wrist (carpal) bone. Though it does articulate with the carpal bones (scapphoid and lunate), at the proximal end of the wrist joint, you would be better off reclassifying it as "arm bone".

Really nice quiz, was a bit stuck at first, then I twigged. Got a little stuck on spirit though, I assumed it was referring to alcohol, I blame my inner Don Draper.

Not if you listen to my first comment, 'Stran' lol. Turns out it's the radius, not the ulna, that articulates at the wrist. Rookie mistake on my part.

A lot of fun, but "wrist bone" is confusing. The answer is one of two bones in the arm, not the wrist.

Other than the fact that I think the quiz needs to be explained better than it is, I thought the puzzle was great. You always come up with the most interesting new ways of doing word puzzles; it impresses me.

I agree with ulna not being a wrist bone. I went through all of the wrist bones in my mind, and was totally confused when none of them had 4 letters. A better clue for Ulna would be forearm bone, or even just arm bone. Wrist really isn't accurate.

You could probably do with less time, since it seems like the results are all really high. But anyway, fun quiz! I like the concept!

Because this is more like a ladder then a laddyrinth, you could actually make clue columns and have the only answers be the answers.
