If I'm an obsessive-compulsive, this quiz was a dream come true. Bravissimo!

BombaySapphire - member since Dec. 2010 - 3378 quizzes played. What do you mean 'if'? Thanks - unfortunately I couldn't pull off what I was trying to do and this is the completely unrecognizable result of that failure - glad that it's still enjoyable.

Great quiz! Anagrams always seem to be harder to crack when the clue itself is a word (i.e.: Analog - Angola). Nice job!

Thanks for being generous with the time because I needed it!

Great quiz! It's very clever, and I'm sure it must have been quite difficult to pull it off with such accuracy and perfection (all 6 letter words, descending order of the hint letters for the Final Group...). I think you deserve recognition for doing such a good job with this quiz :)

Outstanding! Simply outstanding! Five orbs and a nomination! One question though: ray_egg_hop??
Apr 25th, 2011 at 00:52 GMT
Thanks everyone - part 2 will be ready soon. @TimeAndTide: It's an anagram of geography.
Apr 25th, 2011 at 01:31 GMT
Love that my city was the final answer!

this is a great quiz--5 globes, but it can be a little confusing if you don't know if you're looking for cities, countries, provinces, etc.
Apr 25th, 2011 at 08:13 GMT
Even though I only got 24 "correct", I managed to get the final clue. So I don't feel that inadequate.
Apr 25th, 2011 at 08:49 GMT
Awesome quiz! Anagrams and geography are two of my favorite things. The last set of clues at the bottom helped out a lot!

Great Quiz.Just missed Manila.Anagrams that are real words seem to be the hardest to get.
Apr 29th, 2011 at 04:45 GMT
Great quiz! I should do this more often!!

Excellent quiz! Dodoma and Malabo seem a BIT obscure to me.

I love this quiz! Please make more like it :)

I know I'll get bashed for being an ugly American, but those bottom three.... whew, pretty tough. Never heard of two of them. I'll look them up now and hopefully learn something, but the odds are long. I suppose they're no tougher than the quite small capital of Alaska would be for a non-north-American. My idiocy aside, good quiz.
Jun 10th, 2012 at 06:09 GMT
Nice quiz, it might scratch an itch for all the people still suffering from Mixed Word withdrawal. Though I would've been tempted to make it so getting the final answer gave you the answers you missed and ended the quiz.

Glad to see another Betraisefold puzzler. Brilliant
Jun 10th, 2012 at 09:22 GMT
I'm probably going to get stoned for this comment, but.. If you add that much american cities/states, maybe you could add european (or african/asian...) cities like mumbai, sydney,...
Jun 10th, 2012 at 09:44 GMT
Definitely scratched my mixed word itch. Thanks.
Jun 10th, 2012 at 10:18 GMT
Yesterday was the first time I heard about Juneau, still missed it though... But how did I miss Sweden?
Jun 10th, 2012 at 11:57 GMT
I liked how the hidden places fell under a pattern, so that if you couldn't get all the answers in a category, you could still deduce the place you needed.
Jun 10th, 2012 at 12:53 GMT
Nice job - my only suggestion would be that the 'hidden' places could be hidden a bit better, i.e. having to unjumble those as well rather than just reading them off the diagonal.
Jun 10th, 2012 at 13:04 GMT
So I guess Mixed Word games have returned! Well sort of...
Jun 10th, 2012 at 13:29 GMT
Betraisefold, amazing quiz. I don't even want to know how long it took you to think of this quiz...mostly because I'll be put to shame when the answer is anything less than 6 months. Panther, the only reason you'd get stoned is for not realizing that there are more European cities alone (10) than North American cities/states/provinces/countries combined (9)...and that's not even counting European countries (8). As per Asia, yes, there are fewer cities (4); however, there are a number of Asian countries (5), which helps even things out--to the exact number of places represented by North America. No intention of embarrassing you; I'm just helping you understand why your prophecy will most likely come true.
Jun 10th, 2012 at 16:30 GMT
In Panthers defence, I think the point is there is a definite bias towards US, no mention of European regions, or smaller towns/cities.
Jun 10th, 2012 at 16:42 GMT
If anyone was wondering: Dodoma, Moroni, and Malabo are the capitals of Tanzania, Comoros, and Equatorial Guinea, respectively.
Jun 10th, 2012 at 17:18 GMT
Not a fan of how vague the word 'place' is.
Jun 10th, 2012 at 18:17 GMT
Great quiz .First go round I missed Dublin mine hometown :( Second time to speed up I picked more famous 6 letter geographic locations London , Berlin, Madrid etc alas no Moscow then felt like a Moroni . Foxed by Dodoma and Malabo .Dodoma is in Africa but Malabo? probably as well . Well done quizzer
Jun 10th, 2012 at 19:41 GMT
Such an awesome quiz as this would benefit from more allotted time. Word jumbles take longer than regular quizzes, and being pressed for time doesn't help.
Comment below threshold:
Jun 10th, 2012 at 21:14 GMT
Zagreb? Muscat? Tuvalu? Dodoma?!? ok so I should have got Kansas and Athens, but a lot of these sound like you just made them up for this quiz. 3/5.
Jun 11th, 2012 at 00:35 GMT
@bud_79 & @Panther I think you are the ones who are biased. Like @ouachiouat said, Europe is definitely represented, I would even say overrepresented. The point is you're wrong.
