This game was directly inspired by enough's Historical Timeline quiz http://www.sporcle.com/games/enough/timelinematching which I highly recommend. Please let me know if the time limit needs adjusting, it is hard for me to judge since I obviously know the answers already.

Was totally going to bust you for ripping off someone elses quiz from yesterday, but alas, yours only started out similar. http://www.sporcle.com/games/Troublemaker/countryrankingquiz

good quiz, only complaint is the switch from largest to smallest, to smallest to largest between one and two. Cost me about 20 seconds or so

I hadn't noticed Troublemakers quiz but it's fun, thanks. The idea has definitely been done a few times before, I also remember someone doing a quiz on fastest finger questions from millionaire - but I think there is a lot of potential for the style so I'm going to try a few of them - I'll try to avoid combining different orders on the same quiz, I'm trying to set the order so it gets gradually harder as there are less to choose from as you progress obviously. Thanks for the feedback.

Well, time to toss out my own Fastest Fingers quiz that I had in development, unless I can find a better implementation than this, which would be extremely difficult to do!

Really inventive quiz. It turns out typing fractions under pressure isn't something I'm very good at.

this was way to easy a quiz, other than the fractions which i picked up, i had enough of time to guess all the rest. maybe narrowing the category would be better, all geography etc, so people with specialty subjects can do them, rather than guessing to finish.

@Stat1ngup: Your comment really confuses me. You say it's too easy yet you admit you had to guess and your stats show that you finished with 2 seconds to spare. Also, wouldn't focusing on one subject instead of a variety make it even easier?

This is a really cool idea for a quiz. But perhaps making it so that you have to answer them in order might make it a bit more challenging? Just my two cents. Happy St. Paddy's day to everyone.

I spent 30 seconds trying to get Cuba to go in as the first answer. Directions should be read *before* starting the quiz.

Really confusing. Should remove the lines between each item in each subject are so they are all in the same box. As it is, it seems to indicate the answer beside an item corresponds to the item beside it. So when you are asking to put it in order, it seems like you are asking for: For "Poland" answer is "4th", for "Japan" answer is "3rd", etc.

maybe better if you make them answer in order or shorten the time. Now you can get 100% by trial and error

Pretty proud over my chronical historic skills, got them all in order on the first try. That said, I have absolutely nothing to be proud of when it comes to fractions and elements!

Seriously, I have no idea what to type without looking at the comments. I tried typing "1", try typing "first", tried that for every item on these lists and nothing went. "Click any empty bet or raise to answer for that location" What does this mean?

ClamBuckets: At first I thought you were making a joke about that 'empty bet or raise...' thing, but then I saw you were right. I don't understand that at all, but above each column it gives pretty clear instructions.

It's sad when the hardest part of a quiz is figuring out how to answer.

Sorry for the confusion everyone - I have added instructions. @ClamBuckets, climber_v12: I have a habit of using bet, raise and fold as the hint/answer headings on grouped quizzes, however this time I forgot that that can cause problems on quizzes that requires answers in order.

I guessed on many and had 14 seconds to spare. Anyone who types quickly can do this without actually knowing the info. Maybe drop a minute off. Good idea though.

Given that 70% of people have not gotten them all I just can't believe thet it would be a good idea to shorten the time limit.

Interesting that the stats suggest that most people are guessing the atomic numbers in order. I immediately clicked down at the bottom and tried Radon, because it's radioactive and all of the radioactive elements have high numbers. Similarly, figured platinum was high. Then I moved up to sort out the others.

@betraisefold--to repeat a comment from the archives: Changing the order from largest to smallest, then vice-versa, then changing back--was really confusing. I might have gotten them all, except I couldn't figure out why the fractions weren't working right. (Of course, then I read the title above it.]
