As always, I welcome any suggestions or comments you may have. If someone can explain how to put in bonus answers on these 'group answers...' quizzes I would appreciate it. Thanks and enjoy.

I like this quiz. It helped that the ON and UP words were separate. I'm thinking "section" can complete the words "string, brass and woodwind." I'm not sure I've seen runnerup written as one word. Spell check says no, but it might be an alternative. Not sure.

I have altered the orchestra sections clue and decided to replace the runnerup one. I found a couple sources that did list it as an alternate but you are right, it is most often 2 words or hyphenated. I have a feeling there are more possible 'on' answers I have overlooked as there are so many 'on' words- and so few 'up' words (which definitely made it an interesting challenge to make). Thanks, I appreciate the help.

I know it's not
exactly
the same, but would you consider adding "felon" as an alternative answer for the thug/hoodlum clue?

I'd add "surgery" to the brain/tree/oral question (unless "tree surgeon" is a term and "tree surgery" isn't--I've never heard either, tbh).

@Thalia - you're right, felon works, it has been added. @sten: Surgery does not end in 'on'.
