| great quiz....possible categories for this are really endless! Things like landmarks, card games, alcoholic beverages etc would be nice but like I said with this format anything would really work! |
 | LTH: | Apr 19th, 2010 at 17:14 GMT | | 6 points |
| Quebec Nordiques? No wonder I got zero for that category! |
 | betraisefold: | Apr 19th, 2010 at 20:21 GMT | | 2 points |
| @LTH: I decided to make that one challenging so I picked a team that no longer exists...they moved to Colorado and became the Avalanche. |
 | LTH: | Apr 20th, 2010 at 14:16 GMT | | 2 points |
| @betraisefold, yes that was definitely obscure, at least for me! But the quiz still deserves five sporcleorcles. |
 | micah: | May 4th, 2010 at 00:08 GMT | | 2 points |
| Obscure is fine, especially when the tying-together clue makes it obvious that the things to be unscrambled are relatively short names. I didn't actually get any of the things in that category, but I felt like I had a fighting chance at all of them... |

| am i sensing a team america reference with the all caps matt damon? |
 | NotBurt: | May 25th, 2010 at 05:20 GMT | | 2 points |
| Guy Lafleur? GUY LAFLEUR?! man, the guy was with the Nords for, like, half each of two seasons. Lafleur was a Hab. Peter Stastny or Michel Goulet would have been better choices. Or even Dale Hunter. |

| I absolutely LOVE the inclusion of the Quebec Nordiques. |
 | mapgar: | May 25th, 2010 at 05:23 GMT | | 40 points |
| What this quiz has taught me... I know nothing about the Quebec Nordiques who I assume play hockey or football with an outside chance of curling |

| touareg is spelled wrong. Not on this quiz, just in general. That is too many vowels in a row. |

| How in the world did anyone miss Io? |
 | rudi: | May 25th, 2010 at 05:51 GMT | | 6 points |
| SAKIC took a long time . . . tried KISCA CASKI CISAK CASIK, etc, etc. Fortunately SUNDIN happened quickly. (I'm not a hockey fan, but I like to unscramble words) |
 | dubfozz: | May 25th, 2010 at 05:55 GMT | | 15 points |
| they manipulate your head by making words out of the original word. it was hard to look at it and not use the word they show. |

| A bit embarassing that I missed all the cities when I am Australian ! I must have been thinking of "foreign cities", doofus ! |
 | jimmyk83: | May 25th, 2010 at 08:08 GMT | | 7 points |
| Very enjoyable. Its good to have some more obscure things on there, because you still have a chance of getting them just by unscrambling the letters into what you think might be a word. Does mean you enter some rather bizzare guesses though. Like 'Jonas Elanderax' |
 | mavrxboy2: | May 25th, 2010 at 08:10 GMT | | 6 points |
| throwing the defunct Nordiques in there was tricky... but not tricky enough ;) |

 | WCRoentgen: | May 25th, 2010 at 10:38 GMT | | 1 point |
| Great Quiz. I have to admit that I Googled "Guy Lafleur" after I unsuccesfully typed "Canadiens" a half-dozen times! Nordiques? Who knew? |
 | A_Trep: | May 25th, 2010 at 11:45 GMT | | 5 points |
| I dislike that at this point, Magic Bus is the second most guessed clue, but The Who is in the second column of results. disappointing... |

| I know little about NA sport, but I know a number of teams... but I've never even herd of the Quebec Nordiques. What sport do they play? Not exactly a fair choice there... |

| Touareg is the Carl Yastrzemski of the automotive world. It'll take a few more quizzes before I get that spelling down. |
