| @betraisefold: In Group C, when you type in the alternative word to the second common bond, the correct answer only appears in section C (and not section F) was that intentional ? |

| @Flick: No, just too tired when I wrote this - thanks for the help. |

| @betraisefold: I can see why you were tired. You and Lesley R are indeed master wordsmiths, and all the hard work paid off on this quiz. This was simultaneously "mentally stimulating", yet humbling. Bravissimo! |

| It's ingrained in my mind as 'bleu cheese'. That was impossible. Awesome. |
 | pita: | Feb 24th, 2011 at 21:09 GMT | | 3 points |
| Some of these are pretty obscure...like the last in group B going with the one above it, or the last in group C going with the one two above it. Still, it was pretty good, but I wasn't going to get beyond those. |
 | betraisefold: | Feb 24th, 2011 at 22:45 GMT | | 2 points |
| @pita: The nature of constructing these quizzes always results in having to choose less than perfect combinations, which is further complicated by the fact that so many of these words turn out to be regional although I thinkg eggcup and polestar are both fairly ubiquitous. We looked at a huge number of possibilies when making this and these were the best we found without making things completely obvious, but if anyone has anyone specific suggestions I'd love to hear them. |

| Special thanks to my friend Lesley R. who co-wrote this quiz, which, believe it or not, is even more challenging to write than it is to play. Good luck and enjoy! |

| Is it ironic that "cake walk" was too difficult for me to get? |
 | moonie: | Apr 22nd, 2011 at 05:01 GMT | | 18 points |
| Great quiz. I couldn't think of anything except 'way' for hall,by,under... |
 | leppyfresh: | Apr 22nd, 2011 at 05:13 GMT | | 31 points |
| Once I saw 'Sham', I immediately typed in 'wow'. Then I looked at the other two words and slapped myself in the face. |

| I couldn't stop typing in "red" for hot, apple, and wine. |
 | WredAguyW: | Apr 22nd, 2011 at 05:28 GMT | | -2 points |
| @SamYouEll: Likewise, I couldn't stop typing "way" for hall, by, and under. |
 | jkoper: | Apr 22nd, 2011 at 05:40 GMT | | 4 points |
| Not only was "cake walk" too difficult, but "free" "space" was far less automatic than in your typical bingo game. |

| Is it just coincidence that four of the words from groups D and E also work for the bond of group F: floorboard, freeboard, cheeseboard, cupboard? |
 | wetookthebait: | Apr 22nd, 2011 at 15:17 GMT | | 5 points |
| I ended up getting the last answer and attempted to work backwards. Cake... pound? No, that's not it. Carrot? No, that's not it. Urinal? Yeah, that sounds like it'll fit.... egg urinal. |

I know a lot of time was put into this quiz, but some of the answers I struggled to get left me wincing. |

Great quiz. |

| I can tell by looking at it that it must be very difficult to create, especially since all answers must be unique, as must all the original words. For that, I won't gripe about egg cup. I'll merely tip my hat to you. Bravo! |
 | randomhandle: | Apr 22nd, 2011 at 20:17 GMT | | 2 points |
| You ought to specify somewhere that the words that you add to the end aren't forming exclusively new words but often new phrases. That tripped me up. |
