	Minor nitpick but the Chinese names don't really fit the quiz since the names that end in -ing are their given names. In Chinese, the family name comes first and the given name comes last. (For example, with the name Mao Zedong, Mao is the family name and Zedong is the given name; under Western naming convention, the name would be listed as Zedong Mao.) As I noted, it's a minor nitpick, but I doubt that Channing Tatum would've been an acceptable answer on this quiz (since the focus was on the last name, rather than the first). BTW, go ahead and vote this comment down if you feel you must but the point stands.

	@BamaRainbow - you are right and I have no problem with nitpicking, but I think in this case it isn't a problem as their names still end in 'ing'. The original quiz was 'Can you name the people who have last names ending in 'ing' and I removed the word last from this one for just that reason. (I think that is why the Chinese Rocket was removed from the first quiz.) I simply go by how their names are traditionally written in the western world - so Tatum will have to wait for the 'um' people quiz.

	Far as the front page headline goes, it's Garry Shandling, with 2 R's. :-) Far as being too US-centric, I get tired of hearing that. Are a majority of the people on Sporcle from the US? If so, I'd say that's just going to be one of the things you'll have to deal with until they make sporcle.co.uk.

	Deng and Yao don't really belong here. Xiaoping and Ming are their respective given names, since the last name comes first in Chinese. (You'll notice Yao Ming has "Yao" on the back of his jersey.)

	Could everyone shut up and stop trying to show off about the Chinese thing? The quiz doesn't say last names or given names, it says names ending in ing. Last time I checked, Yao came before Ming and Deng came before Xiaoping. I might not pretend to be a Chinese scholar, but I think I've mastered the concepts of beginning and ending.

	Glad people seem to be enjoying the Police man clue. @kypzethdurron: In the archived comments you will see that I asked for help with some European suggestions in paricular and got no response. Unfortunately, I just don't know very many - in fact I have never heard of any of the people you mentioned (I did however think of Borje Salming today.) I wanted to include more but I dont even know if the ones I found when researching this are well known there (I did almost include Will Carling as I could've written that as a double clue as I did with Ron Darling.) Also, in proportion to the demographics of Sporcle users the US is actually underrepresented. By the way, I'm not even American. @juviejay: This is a sequel - check out the first quiz. @RetepAdam: My favourite thing about these kinds of quizzes is seeing the ones that I should've thought of but didn't - thanks. @midlifecrisis: That is why I made it the first word in the clue. @nhorne: Ha, I actually had a couple more too. @jtrichey: Quisling is apparently even a word now. @mikeinpurple: See my response to BamaRainbow above.

	If I remember correctly I also accepted Goring with an umlaut on the o - If you have any other appropriate spellings just click on needs review and tell Sporcle - once it is published I can no longer edit it.

	"Luftwaffe" should be capitalized since in each case it refers specifically to the German air force.
