Maleria (from Merged Border Quiz), you're up. You can't face the doom of many rabies germs? Whadanube.

Uhhh....I think so, @pfrijirtr, but what if the chicken won't wear the nylons?

You missed the biggest event of 1848: Wisconsin being admitted to the union!

Type: at the time of this writing OTHELLO had TOEHOLE as its clue, but one of those E’s should be another L.

Damn, that was an impressive quiz. Not sure I buy some of those history answer percentages, however (and I got 2 of the 4). And LOVE the jumbled word at the end--so fitting, so far beyond my grasp. And in retrospect, so obvious. Serves me right.

I lost a lot of time marvelling at Sega's ingenious 'STDCAMERA'.

I believe the history percentages...three fairly long words for each event makes it tougher. I find that if I rearrange the rearranged letters it makes it easier. Had there been a few minutes less time, I would have joined the percentages of the three history answers as well. Great quiz.

I agree with koopa08, I think the longer history answers really make it tough, plus the fact that the events are a little obscure. I'm not sure how many will know when the saxophone was patented, assuming they get that's what it was (and I am definitely one of those people.) Besides that issue though, I really enjoyed this quiz.
Nov 19th, 2011 at 07:13 GMT
If you get Taylor, you can try every fourth year before the civil war for example.
Nov 19th, 2011 at 07:35 GMT
Uhhh the saxophone was patened in 1846, not 1848.
Nov 19th, 2011 at 10:22 GMT
^^ Just about to say that.
Nov 19th, 2011 at 13:56 GMT
@ Colmar: STDCAMERA would probably have been more fun than the actual product.

Grammar police! The quiz description on the homepage say, "This quiz is all srecwed up." Oh wait, it's supposed to be like that...

Wait, so there's no such thing as an STD camera?

Moues is a word. It should be accepted, miscellaneous still works with moues.
Nov 19th, 2011 at 19:42 GMT
I prefer mouse actually. Mice are nice.

Poor Adam West ...the role that made him a huge star pretty much put an end to his career. Holy irony, Batman!

@JustANiceGuy: Not at all. He has gone on to even greater things as the mayor of Quahog.

what the hell, you guys, this was a super tortured quiz. If someone else did something like this, betraisefold wouldn't do well. "Communist Manifesto Published"???? "California gold rush begins"???Who the heck is getting those? And the language end for "miscellaneous".... Booooo, over and over.

and the bible stuff, c'mon, betraisefold. thumbs down on this quiz.
Nov 20th, 2011 at 04:09 GMT
So the second "language" clue can also be rearranged into "acne".
Nov 20th, 2011 at 12:59 GMT
The history ones are quite hard. 1848 was a very important (and highly eventful) year for many reasons, but the clues cover some fairly minor events instead, so it takes longer to guess the answers.

had a tough time understanding what the last question was asking - seems like I wasn't the only one!
Nov 20th, 2011 at 21:51 GMT
very smart and interesting quiz! I found myself mouthing sounds out loud at the end...

I got Saturn and then got a mental block thinking it was a car. I was scratching my head thinking "Genesis" is a car? Slapped myself when I saw the answer
