Great one! Easier than the others.

This is the first word laddyrinth that I've successfully completed. Always had a stumper in the others that I couldn't get past, but this one went fairly smoothly overall!

typing in "0~O~0~O~0~O~0" is a fun trick.

Couldn't stop trying to think of things that were red and white - candy cane? barbers pole? didnt matter that they didnt fit...

Maybe use a date other than Dec. 25th? It definitely wasnt the thing I thought of when I saw that
Apr 27th, 2011 at 18:08 GMT
Agree with Frozenleaf and FreakyFlyBry. I've never completed one without having to look up a word or two in a thesaurus.
But the big question is, am I better at these because I've looked up a bit of words before or are there just limits to the words you can fit together and I've pretty seen them all by now?
Apr 27th, 2011 at 18:26 GMT
It's funny, on this one much more than previous versions I was concerned that there was a spot that people were going to get stuck on (duly). @freedomfries64: That's exactly why I used Dec. 25th.

this is hard

Whew, "show interest" and "proper way" almost tripped me up. Fun quiz. Time seems about right.

After the answers to 'thin; having little fat' and 'rude; malicious', I couldn't shake Grilling Machine from my head.
May 26th, 2012 at 09:36 GMT
I think this is the first one of these I completed first time with no help!
May 26th, 2012 at 11:19 GMT
Nice jubbly. Liked that.
May 26th, 2012 at 11:38 GMT
@brock: Yeah - like it: on your suggestion, I pasted 0~O~0~O~0~O~0, and scored an impressive 66/192 in just 10 seconds!

But it would be good if the box to the left of the "Well done" box could be in different colour, say red: By the time I was close to end, couldn't work out which one (to the left or above) to type in last...
May 26th, 2012 at 12:25 GMT
I filled in the last answer I could get, after the warning that the next answer would finish the quiz, and it gave me credit for the answer to "December 25," which I did not actually get (devious clue!). In the stats I was shown in the group getting all answers.

Tap, tap, tap Penny; tap, tap, tap Penny, tap, tap, tap, Penny: I don't know why, but Laddyrinth's always give full credit when anyone gets the final solution.

this is the first ladder where i got every word. very proud moment. not sure if it was easier or if i'm just getting better at these.

5 sporcley globes. Almost got stuck at duly but still finally one I could finish without too much trouble. Also, could 'send' possibly be another answer for 'loan'? I'm being quite picky here but it could work.
May 26th, 2012 at 22:28 GMT
I'm the same way as some other. This was the first time i got all the way through, every word, without doing guess and check, i.e. (Ball, Bbll, Bcll, Bdll, Bell, Bfll...you get the idea)
May 27th, 2012 at 00:50 GMT
Nice quiz - turf doesn't mean artificial grass though! If it was, I would have to wonder what the hell was in my "Surf n Turf"!

For 'Peruse a book' LEAF works as well...
May 27th, 2012 at 15:40 GMT
I still don't understand the warning.
May 29th, 2012 at 13:40 GMT
@pigheaded1: what does "tap, tap, tap Penny" mean? Just curious.
May 29th, 2012 at 19:01 GMT
@Tar2--That is how Sheldon knocks on Penny's door in "The Big Bang Theory." Not sure what significance that has here, though.
May 29th, 2012 at 20:42 GMT
@ruddfan84 - I believe it was an attempt by pigheaded1 to channel Sheldon whilst answering Penny's concern...

@Bob91351--Wait, was that sarcasm?

hehe...I typed in Well Done...It didn't give them all to me though...Amazing quiz, once again!

how does .1% of people not get the first clue, and .2% not get the finish space? I thought those were given at the beginning?
May 13th, 2013 at 04:24 GMT
That was an odd one. It suddenly ended the game and gave me credit for all 192, but I still had about 20% of the words left to guess. Really fun quiz though.
