Are these the best franchises in your opinion, or is there a source? Either way, you should specify.

Ok, first off this is obviously just your opinion which is bad enough as it is. But I hate it when people don't specify the rules, how am I supposed to know that you want the town and name of specific team.

No real sports quiz requires city AND team name. I would say just require team name like every other damned quiz, but what does it even matter?

Lakers over Celtics? Historically, I must question that. This list also obviously just based on the NBA, MLB, and NFL, for if it included the NHL, then we would at least see the Canadiens, and perhaps others, in the mix.

I need a source for this, and a definition/criteria.

whoever came up with this is obviously erroneous. the patriots are by far the best nfl franchise ever and the celtics are superior to the lakers.
