	Note: By 'it' I meant lists of kings and queens, as this format avoids the 'adding i/ii/iii/iv' way of answering that these quizzes are susceptible to.

	Autonomuspleb: If we're doing pedantry then technically all the kings and queens post 1707 were Kings and Queens of England. They were just monarchs of Scotland etc too. "Can you name the kings and queens of England and Wales until the 1707 Act of Union, the kings and queens of Great Britain thereafter until Ireland joined in 1801, the kings and queens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland thereafter until the 1922 partition of Ireland and the kings and queens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland thereafter until the present day?" is a bit of a mouthful.

	My turn to be pedantic: why start at 1066? It looks like the Norman propaganda machine still holds sway, nearly a thousand years later. It was the Normans who spread the fiction that English history started when they took over. It did not.
