	I don't think epistemology is a "theory of philosophy," but rather a specific branch within the field of study, same goes for metaphysics.

	Michael is right. Philosophy is generally divided into three branches, epistemology, metaphysics, and value theory. Also, calling Kierkegaard a nihilist is dubious...

	It is difficult to categorize these answers under one theme; there are branches of philosophy (as michael1 points out) such as metaphysics, epistemology; there are branches to these branches such as idealism and rationalism; and then there are simply ideas such as nihilism. I am not sure what I would classify all of these under, but "Theory of Philosophy" is vague and, I think, inaccurate.

	Philosophy has more than three branches. The main branches are metaphysics, logic, ethics, epistemology, and social/political philosophy. Sometimes one will see other categories listed as branches as well: aesthetics, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, and philosophy of religion, too. Hamilton27, you said it all best ;-).
