	@Yodageddon: Yes, for two reasons. 1) It was the first war fought after independence, and it served to prove the US could defend herself, and 2) Andrew Jackson became famous as a result of it.

	Greatest story from the Franco-Prussian War: the boxcar that the Germans used after the war for signing the peace agreement was used by the French following World War I when the Germans signed Versailles and then Hitler used the same one again after the fall of the Third Republic during the Nazi invasion in 1940. Talk about a grudge.

	The railway car was not used during the Franco-Prussian War. The Hall of Mirrors was used for both the Franco-Prussian War and WWI. What is "warring states"?

	@demonstab: It's also called the Sengoku Period/Era and involved the unification of Japan under the Tokugawa. A few "popular" names (in movies and such) have come from the time period. Examples would be Nobunaga Oda and Ieyasu Tokugawa. I actually decided to change the answer that shows up to The Sengoku Era, though the other names are still obviously accepted.

	There's some inconsistency here...you accept short form (like "Vietnam" instead of "Vietnam War") for some but not for others ("100 Years," "1812," "Korean"). Can you maybe pick one or the other? "War"/"wars" is obviously implied, so I don't think you really need it. Also, if you want some more geographic diversity, how about: The Battle of Magersfontein/Battle of Kimberley (Boer/Second Boer/South African/Anglo-Boer Wars), the Battle of Celaya/Battle of Ciudad Juárez (Mexican Revolution), the Battle of Adowa/Battle of Tembien (Italo-Abyssinian War/Italo-Ethiopian War), or Battle of Santiago/Battle of Manila Bay (Spanish-American War)? Those should all be relatively easy for anyone with a good sense of military history or geography.

	punic wars accept it woith out putting in the extra war on the end and @sabresfan the americans only won the rebellion and stayed independent is of those medeling french daisys without them the rebellion would of for certain failed
