| A few comments: (1) For Beta, it should be "Type of ray composed of high speed electrons." Electrons already are particles. (2) Lower case omega is often used for frequency when measured in radians per second (i.e., phase angle per second), while nu (or f) is usually for frequency measured in Hertz = cycles per second. So the one for Nu is ambiguous, although gettable after a small number of tries. (3) I think "Denotes an angle" is a poor one, because phi denotes an angle just about as often, and lots of other Greek letters are routinely used for angles, too. (4) A lot of sources use N to represent torque, but I guess that's not a problem since tau is a Greek letter and N is not. :-) (5) I'd change your clue for Omega to "Symbol for the SI unit of electrical resistance." In circuit problems (and others), they generally use R as the symbol for resistance. (6) I'm surprised you didn't have, "Usual symbol for quantum wave function" -- Psi. That's pretty universal. (7) Hey, if you're willing to get a bit more obscure, you could use, "Riemann's famous function" -- Zeta. (8) Finally: Nice quiz!! |
