@iKNOWall: I felt that using two pictures of the same Buster could have suggested the wrong meaning. It could have meant two pictures of one 'Buster' rather than two 'Busters', which was needed for the clue to work. Also, I wanted to have a few TV references within the clues, as I had done in the earlier movie version of this quiz. It adds an extra level of complexity as it means not only do you need to know the TV Show you are guessing, you also need to know the shows which make up the clues.
@adorkable: I definitely tried to ramp the difficulty level up to extra hard for the last 2-3 clues to challenge the people who are really good at the puzzles. Clue 20 is an absolute stinker but a few people have been able to figure it out already. The majority of the clues aren't too difficult though and the average score is 12-13 which I think is fair enough. Looking at the scores as they are now there seems to quite a good, linear-ish difficulty gradient. |
