I took this quiz: http://www.sporcle.com/games/Olivia_Strange/WaysOfTravel a couple of days ago but kept guessing things that weren't there so I've made a slightly more comprehensive version. It is still far from fully comprehensive so add any extras you think should be on the list to the comments.

Differently refreshing. Surprised that I got at the 93rd percentile but still got under half. And what about parachuting? Pole vaulting? Roller coasters? I suppose it's hard to think of all the different ways that one can transport oneself. I actually had to think of computer games to make me recall some of these...

Poles, nice, a good old fashioned way of traversing marshes and such. I'll add parachuting now too. Not sure if roller coasters can count as transport as they don't actually take you anywhere, they just thrill you back to where you started. I discarded Bumper Cars for the same reason but if more people say they should count then I'll accept them.

camel, elephant, donkey, subway, zip line, samlor I would argue that climbing isn't a method of transport, otherwise human power on land would including jumping, hopping and skipping

Can't believe I didn't think of Zip line. Added. I'll probably just group all animal back together under a more ambiguous name than horseback. I'd say climbing should be separate from human power on land though as it is the only way to travel up a vertical surface. Same as swimming should be separate from human powered land transport as it is the only way for us to move unaided through water.

taxi, ambulance -- although they are vehicles, they are very specific and different in their modes than other cars or vans.

Haha I tried some silly ones, and definitely guessed "flying glass elevator" but not a regular one. :P
I think I'd agree with the taxi suggestion, even though I didn't think of that.

Just came across this quiz with a friend and had some fun times guessing some of the funny things that came up (and we also tried some silly things like "portal" and "UFO"). Anyways, should a bulldozer count here? And aren't a trike and a tricycle the same thing? And my friend thinks that "cannon" should be a valid method of transportation (ie. "human cannonball"). Some more to consider would be moving walkways/movators, forklift, and catapult.

Bobsleigh, abseiling, pushchair/pram, trolley? Perhaps you could accept pole vault.
