This will definately be the last of these from me - if anyone else would like to do a version, you're welcome to. The first quiz was scraping the barrel in some categories and now I'm definately out of ideas.
Please point out any silly mistakes I've made (or any clever mistakes I've made for that matter) so the quiz can be fixed for everyone else. A lot of this was made very late at night so there are bound to be some somewhere. Enjoy!

Would you consider a couple of alternative spellings, namely Rumplestiltskin and Ahmedinejad. Great work once again though
Sep 12th, 2010 at 10:16 GMT
@tjvhammer: Yes, of course. I had a feeling that would come up. The trouble is just trying to think of all the ways someone might try to spell things, particularly in the case of Ahmadinejad. I don't think I've ever spelled his name the same way twice and I've still never got it right without copying and pasting. Thanks for the suggestions for alternatives. Whenever I can't spell something during a quiz I tend to just type it straight into the Google search bar and get it auto-corrected. Usually doesn't cost much time.
Sep 12th, 2010 at 11:23 GMT
If I ever manage to spell Rumpelstiltskin correctly without looking at it elsewhere, I will be shocked. I am still convinced that it should have a z there.
Sep 12th, 2010 at 13:38 GMT
I'll take 86 on one of the best quizzes I've ever sporcled!! Congrats!

Please maybe add the Beatles in the music category, they were the greatest band of all time.
Sep 12th, 2010 at 20:35 GMT
Really cool, fun quiz. I spent way too much time figuring out the sign language, and had to race to catch up.
Sep 12th, 2010 at 21:47 GMT
I don't know if I'm going to be the only one who wants this, but please accept 'Puss n Boots'.

Too bad Makmood Immanutjob didn't work for the president one in the Miscellaneous category..

Guessed Count Quackula randomly, who knew I was so close yet so far...

Loved the sign language and inclusion of Tekken. 5 globes, I love these quizzes. Sad there will be no more =[
Sep 13th, 2010 at 21:09 GMT
Wow, ASL tries to look like the letters - I never knew that. On a separate note, I do love how far knowing one single solitary hockey player's name gets me on Sporcle!
Sep 14th, 2010 at 15:20 GMT
Awesome, awesome, awesome quiz! One of the best-made I can remember. Maybe accept "Jove" as alternative for "Jupiter"?
Sep 14th, 2010 at 22:35 GMT
Great quiz. More solid than the first one, I think. How long did it take for you to put it together?
Sep 14th, 2010 at 23:01 GMT
That was so fun to play! Especially the Just for Fun section,I used to love those when I was a kid!
Sep 15th, 2010 at 00:42 GMT
That was SO awesome. Thanks. It must have been a lot of work. :)

@MorningBell: It takes me weeks, but that is mainly only due to the facts that I am incredibly lazy and unimaginitive. I'll come up with an idea for the music section, make the page for it and then not be able to think of anything for any other section for the next 3 days. If I actually knew my categories before starting it could be done in a day or long evening. The other time consuming bit is coming up with answers over a broad difficulty range and then actually finding decent pictures of them. If I actually had all the pictures ready I could probably crop them all to scale, paste them into grids and make the flash file in 3 hours or so. It is only about 10 lines of code which I can now just copy and paste from the first one without having to watch a video tutorial on how to make flash slideshows.

@bazmerelda: Yeah, I'm kind of like that too. And sometimes I forget ideas that I've had for answers...

Great quiz, had a blast, little something for everyone. But only 52% of people got Jack Nicklaus and Mark Spitz?? 62% getting Gretzky??!! Watch some sports will ya?
Sep 16th, 2010 at 19:36 GMT
@bmo1616: Not every Sporcler is North American, so that shouldn't come as that much of a surprise. I only got the football [soccer] one.
Sep 17th, 2010 at 22:27 GMT
Total number of quizzes in my favorites: two. Number one and two of these(:
Sep 18th, 2010 at 18:31 GMT
Thanks for another brilliant quiz. Also got to thank the Velvet Underground for giving me one of the answers in the artists section :)
Sep 18th, 2010 at 19:22 GMT
;) I considered deleting that part of the album cover for about a second before deciding it was far too cheeky a clue to not leave in. Glad someone has made use of it.
Sep 20th, 2010 at 01:44 GMT
This is going to seem really nitpicky, but would it be possible to include things like incomplete symphony? I always seem to get so close in those, but always off by a little bit!
Sep 22nd, 2010 at 00:10 GMT
putting sporcle in sign language made my day.
Nov 11th, 2010 at 17:36 GMT
Eagle22: "Unfinished Symphony" is the name of an actual symphony by Schubert, so "incomplete symphony" as a synonym doesn't really count.
I was going to complain about inconsistency in the superhero section on taking real names, until I discovered that there was a reason "Richard Reed" didn't work for Mr. Fantastic no matter how many times I tried it. Man, some days are just harder than others. (Though accepting "Princess Diana/Diana Prince" for Wonder Woman would be nice.)
Nov 11th, 2010 at 18:32 GMT
Cheers Tahnan. I thought I'd accepted those for Wonder Woman but must have mistakenely skipped over her. I've added them now.
Nov 14th, 2010 at 22:29 GMT
Nice quiz, you must have put in a lot of work. Can you accept Fender Strat for the guitar? It's a pretty common shortening of the name.
Nov 15th, 2010 at 02:29 GMT
nicely done. had a hard time with ahmedinajad... or however you spell his name. lol
Nov 22nd, 2010 at 17:45 GMT
It was nice to see some sports stars that catered to a more global market, rather than the usual same olds! Cheers

Where did the last 20 minutes go? That was amazing!
Nov 23rd, 2010 at 17:02 GMT
This should be in every category!
Nov 27th, 2010 at 15:50 GMT
I am so happy Paramore is one of the least guessed. Another great quiz! Don't stop!
Nov 28th, 2010 at 17:42 GMT
im not sure if you have already heard this, but in the music category, i did not know the answer to the banana one, and there was a name in the bottom corner. i typped that in, hoping it was the artist. it turned out to be an actual painting artist from the other category. i didn't know if there was a way to take out the bottom of the picture so it wouldn't give away answers. but i still love this quiz. it is really unique and fun.
Nov 28th, 2010 at 18:04 GMT
@JayZed: I know Strat is common but I've left it as Stratocaster as I expect the majority will try and type it in full. It will annoy them when they type extra letters and have to delete them.
@trick39berry: It has been mentioned. It is there as a very intentional clue to anyone who recognises Warhol's Monroe painting but can't remember his name. I really enjoy that one of the answers is in the quiz and over 20% of people still miss it. So I could delete it, but I shan't.
Nov 28th, 2010 at 20:10 GMT
I am so glad you included that Paramore album. They are one of my favorite bands, and that album cover is fantastic. Thanks for another great quiz!

Is Ahmadinejad (ugh I will never spell it correctly!) the new Kyrgyzstan? =)
Jan 4th, 2011 at 15:12 GMT
Hooray Eddy Merckx, only belgian in the quiz and known more than hubble according to this quiz!
Jan 15th, 2011 at 07:53 GMT
Fun and well-done, as always!

Could you throw in some alternative answers for "Goldilocks and the Three Bears"? I tried goldielocks and goldylocks before giving up entirely.
