Can you name the movies from the badly acted charades?
Enter a film in the box below
Correctly named films will show up below
Answers do not have to be guessed in order
I know props aren't strictly allowed in charades but since I can't interact with the person guessing I've decided to cheat a bit. You may want to buffer the video before clicking ready.

It's...kind of stupid, but in a really endearing way. (Note: for #13, it'd be nice if you also accepted the American spelling.)

I'd go as far as to say it's very stupid indeed. I'll add the spelling, hadn't realised you guys spelled it different. Cheers.

I think it's cool

It's very cute that you devoted this much time to a sporcle game, and for the most part the charades were very accurate. This was one of the most original games I've played on this site.

brilliant! i always think there's not much more to be done on sporcle but then people like you change my mind. if i was an editor, i would pick.

Really made me smile. Great quiz.

I'm sure some charades purists would complain about the use of props, but forget that. It's plain fun to watch, and guessing from the smile during the Back to the Future clue, fun to make as well. Good job.

Goofy...but in a great way! I love how you started each one with the movie hint...in case we forgot or something. Very original. Thanks for a fun quiz.

That was fantastic, well done. Pi was probably my favorite. Just so goofy.
Nov 23rd, 2010 at 06:08 GMT
Pi was great, as were plenty more. Life of Brian was nearly impossible...

@FearTheManatee: Yeah, it's a pretty fun way to spend a lazy afternoon if you've got nothing better to do.
A bit of background: Whilst playing charades at work (we were
bored) I discovered I could only actually do one charade (the first one on this video). I thought I should actually try and learn how to do some and these are literally the first 20 I thought up on the day. I only ever expected the quiz to be played by the three people I sent the link to so I'm glad a few others have got a giggle out of my silly acting :)

Congrats on the Editor Pick, bazmerelda!

This quiz still makes me smile for some reason. I wish I could give it another 5. I don't remember if I nominated it, but I will now. C'mon folks, if this made you smile as well, rate it up and nominate. I'd love to see something original like this get published!

I got the easy ones like Fight club and men in black, but when you were doing Pi, I was soooo lost, lol. I thought you were giving me more words or syllables or something, wouldn't have guessed it to be 3.14.
Feb 26th, 2011 at 14:26 GMT
Thanks for the Editor Pick. Didn't think this quiz was ever going to see the light of day again. I'm glad it has though as I am quite attached to it.
I'm actually pleasantly surprised how many people are getting Pi. I thought it was a rubbish clue for a not very famous film. I'm equally surprised how few people get The Life of Brian. Most people I know in real life who've played this thought that was one of the easy ones! Then again it is an oft repeated scene on British TV clip shows and comedy film countdowns.
@milchard: Why? So I can conform to some dreary Utopia of a homogenous society? No thanks.

you are weird-looking
Feb 27th, 2011 at 02:29 GMT
Cool idea! It took me a minute to figure out that the bit at the beginning of each segment indicated the number of words in the movie title, but once I realized that, it was very enjoyable!

I feel like an idiot for not getting "Men In Black." My mind automatically went to "The Blues Brothers."
May 6th, 2011 at 20:43 GMT
Nice one! Really enjoyed this! Nominated :)

I took your other one yesterday. Your robot imitation here was hilarious. The Pi one I was like "whaaa??" but after the answers were revealed I went back and looked at it. You kept going well after 3.14. I just shook my head and smiled.
