	quite fun. I'd heard that the european robin is not related to the thrush we call a robin in the states, but I'd never seen one. Cute little thing. I thought I tried "poison frog" but didn't get credit. You're pretty generous elsewhere -- is the full "Bumblebee Poison Frog" name required here?

	The degree of accuracy for accepted answers is completely arbitrary, for some you accept the most general names: like "beetle," "toad," and "orchid" but require the complete and obscure species names for others. In at least one case you accept the wrong answer. (Pacific redwood is a different genus and species from giant sequoia, and I'm pretty sure the tree shown is a redwood, not a sequoia.) You should accept Lesser Panda, and either neon OR tetra (I tried both).

	^ Don't you love people who've never attempted to make a quiz yet feel qualified to criticise everyone elses' and give an average rating of just 1.8/5? I've seen you around before soshoreman and you strike me as a troll so I shouldn't waste my time with you but here is an explanation to some of the points you raise: The image file for the Giant Sequoia is named giant sequioa and it looks remarkably similar to many other Giant Sequioa pictures across the internet. If you can find any definitive proof to the contrary then I will happily change it but the majority of people are currently getting the correct answer so it clearly looks enough like what it says to be acceptable. You're right that I haven't been consistent in my accepted answers but it certainly wasn't arbitrary. I had a choice to either limit pictures to organisms that had definitive species name available, make all answers general and do an easy quiz, or try to be intentionally selective and choose some species names that people should be able to get and leave some more general names for species they probably wouldn't. How many people would be able to give the exact variety of a particular rose from a picture for example? I went with trying to balance some general names with some specific ones to keep the difficulty more consistent throughout. In some places I may have erred on the too easy side as with toad and beetle - which I may decide to change depending on results - but trying to guess the flower species for example would be pointlessly difficult for most people. I don't think any of the accepted species names are, as you say, obscure in any way. Neon Tetra is one that I feel people should be able to get the full species name for. It is one of the most common aquarium fish after all. Why should I accept neon? That is an element. Not a fish. You're right about the lesser panda. I'll add that to the accepted alternatives. It was an oversight.

	@beth: It accepts all sorts of variations on poison dart and poison arrow frog as they are commonly known. I've tried to be generous in most of the quiz (I've made too many hard quizzes and wanted to do something gentle) so I could probably accept poison frog there too.

	Since it's a topic for discussion, I thought I'd have my 2 cents worth... I thought the level of difficulty for the answers was appropriate for each species and found this an immensely enjoyable quiz. I want to play again.

	@bazmerelda: Fun quiz! My only disappointment was finding that I was right about the bluebells, but that my speedy typing and pluralization cost me the point. I recognize that "bluebell" is more correct than "bluebells," but I wouldn't cry if both were accepted.
