	This is a good idea for a quiz but you could have another column showing years active for each organisation as a clue or just additional information, and also that way put the colour scheme at the headings or something because it strains my eyes a bit.

	I would stay away from using color. If you use the traditional colors of the conflict, as you have, it can be taken politically -- for example, the prevalence of green here could be seen as a Republican statement. If you pick a neutral scheme, which is hard to do due to all the different symbols used, there's almost no point in having one. You might as well just stick with the default.
