Only two shows that were aired more than 15 years ago. Nice quiz but pretty limited.

The bonuses are Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parenthood, How I Met Your Mother, Reba, The Cosby Show, Community, The Young and the Restless, The Shield, Leave it to Beaver, Freaks and Geeks and House, M.D.

I don't understand the point of bonus answers on a quiz like this. You just guess random shows that are wrong and their actual theme song pops up? Why not just include them in the quiz?

And how were we supposed to guess shows like Mad Men, whose theme has no lyrics whatsoever?

I had no idea the theme on Chuck was an actual song, but that makes sense because it's kinda catchy.

If you like Short Skirt Long Jacket, you should probably listen to more Cake! Most of their songs are catchy. Their song Italian Leather Sofa is also the theme-song of the short lived (but extremely good) adult cartoon "Mission Hill"

CSI is "Won't get fooled again" not "Who are you", however both are by The Who.

@mmoney421: Yes, although I believe in this quiz, they're looking for the theme song from the original/first CSI (Las Vegas), which is, indeed, "Who Are You." However, all of the CSI's do use songs by The Who as their opening title theme songs. CSI: Miami uses "Won't Get Fooled Again" and CSI: NY uses "Baba O'Riley."

When you say Original Run, are you talking about the show or the song? Because they haven't used Little Boxes for Weeds since season 3.

I had no idea that the tune somebody was whistling at the beginning of the Andy Griffith show actually had the title "The Fishing Hole." But I guess the title fits the overall theme of the show.

nice idea for a quiz, but bad selection. Too many new shows, shows without lyrics and shows from HBO and Showtime. What's the reason for bonuses?

On the recent "Whistle Songs" quiz, it says the the Andy Griffith theme song is called "The Andy Griffith Show." There is no reference to "The Fishin' Hole"...

The only one I missed that I should have gotten was Charmed, which is weird bc I heard it on the radio today. Some I knew I wouldn't get because I knew they would be random HBO shows that everyone is "obsessed with" but are actually dumb (ie, True Blood).

55% know "The O.C."? I thought that was only for angsty teenage girls, which is way less than 55% of the population. Sometimes the results on this website confound me. ;-)

@drzoom: Strongly disagree. "True Blood" and "Mad Men" are very popular and widely known. That they're on HBO and Showtime should not preclude them. Go rent them on DVD and you'll see. :-)

You should accept "Drew Carey" and "Andy Griffith" - you should not require people write "The" and "Show". Thought I was going crazy that they wouldn't go through!

Wow. I'm watching 'It's Always Sunny' while taking this quiz. I even had the thought that this show has an awesome theme song. Fail.
