102 out of 104... I always forget about Jon Lieber's outlier to spell Kile instead of Kyle

Why only 4 in 2002 AL?

Only 4 players received votes in both the 2002 AL and 2003 NL voting. Since every voter only votes for first, second, and third, it can happen in years where there are dominating pitchers. There was actually one year in the '90s where only 3 players received votes.

@triberocker Yes, it seems to be a special, self-selected group that does these...and they are ridiculous! If I don't get nearly all of them, I'm going to be way down in percentile. It's my nightly opportunity to feel stupid! I tip my Yankee cap to all y'all!

Hey ****stick 2outs, it's not too hard to remember who was good a few years ago (Harang), especially as someone as divinely self-proclaimed as you are, and another who is still a good pitcher in the news (Carmona).

I got them all in just over 4 min, quizes like this don't need so much time, you either know the players or you don't. Love these kinds of quizes though, having to think of some players who may not have had long distinguished careers, but still had at least one impressive season along the way.

You guys may complain about your scores, but I missed the winner in 2005. How does somebody manage to not guess that guy?!?!

bakeet14: In this quiz, yes that is correct. However, since 2010 the voters have voted for a first, second, third, fourth, and fifth place. If you expand this quiz to include the last 2 seasons you'll see a large increase in the answers.
