This quiz needs to be retitled. These are the 50 most expensive cities FOR EXPATS to live in, not the 50 most expensive cities to live in. That's a distinct difference. The requirements of an average expat living in Luanda are significantly larger than the average Angolan. Also, Hong Kong is not a country; country should be China.

This quiz doesn't need to be retitled, unless you're too lazy to read more than 11 words. He labeled the countries according to the listed source. Nice quiz.

Normally I don't need to click on and read a source to understand what the quiz is about.

@bsd987 I thought it was quite clear with the link + additional note, but I added "for expatriates" in the title. also all the original data came directly from the source which listed HK as the country, but I corrected it in the quiz to China.

"For expats" makes a huge difference. Either way, never thought those African cities would be on the list, very interesting nonetheless.

@Mulyahnto: most of the luxuries that expats require are difficult to get in several African cities due to low supply or the need to import, and thus are very expensive. I found the Brazilian cities more surprising: but I guess Brazil is now entering the league of developed countries, and cost of living is soaring. Explains why they still have slums there even though even the poor's incomes are quite high compared to Africa/India.
