Drew Bledsoe actually won two AFC title games. Brady got hurt before the game during the 2001 season, but was back for the Super Bowl.

Warren Moon, was the starting quarterback for the Houston Oilers against the Buffalo Bills when Frank Reich had to fill in for Jim Kelly, the Bills overcame a huge half time deficit to go on to the Super Bowl.

@DanTravers1 Brady started the game against the Steelers and was hurt before halftime. Bledsoe won it for them with an impressive 3rd quarter TD drive - the only offensive TD the patriots scored in that game.

@jcf5445: Brady was hurt on the Patriots first offensive series, wasn't he? I recall Bledsoe pretty much playing the whole game, his last of any real importance.

you should have noted to include the old AFL

@Mello...whether it was the first offensive series or not, the quiz is correct because Bledsoe didn't start the game.

@John725: I did note that 4 AFL games are included "Due to the NFL merger being in 1969, I have added 4 AFL Championship Games going back as far as the first Super Bowl Season."

Mello: I'm not sure what series it was but it certainly wasn't the first. Brady completed more passes and threw for more yards than Bledsoe in the game. Bledsoe threw the lone TD however. Either way, neither of them one the game for the Patriots, the special teams did with a Troy Brown punt return TD and blocked FG for a TD.
