| A quiz like this has to be very careful on the title selection. If the title doesn't give a clue to the identity of the person, then it's a shot in the dark with no hope of getting the answer - you either know it or your don't. So "My Life" - bad clue, and wouldn't have scored nearly as well had it not been given as an example on the Suggestion page. "Mein Kampf" - good clue, because even if you weren't familiar with it from history, it's a German title, so you have a reasonable chance. "My Grandfather's Son" - C'mon, that covers the entire male half of the human race. (Except for Jesus, Adam, Cain & Abel, if that's your thing.) "Reaching For The Moon" - got it on my third guess, the first two being Armstrong and Lovell (of Apollo 13). "Losing My Virginity" - excellent clue, since it refers to Branson's founding of Virgin Records, Virgin Airlines, Virgin Radio, etc. I kicked myself for missing it. And that's how it should be. When answers are revealed, there should be more "D'oh!" and less "Meh..." -- I've rated quiz as this as 2 stars, but a 4 star quiz in the category, with lots of research, is certainly possible. |
