Which means things like potential, fielding, speed, hitting against righties, hitting against lefties, etc is put into some sort of weighted average, which is why there are some unexpected ones in here. For example, the reason King Felix is higher than Ichiro is not necessarily because he is the most valuable player on the team, but because things like the velocity of his fastball, the break of his curveball, and his A+ potential factor into the rating, while Ichiro's age, lack of power, and aversion to taking pitches works against his VIDEO GAME rating. |
