| @nightknight: "rep congo" was already accepted, but I've added "rep of congo" because, well, pretty much why not, it's about the same thing. I didn't add "Bosnia", but I do think we as a Sporcle collective ought to think about what's appropriate on countries like that. The standard right now seems to be to require the whole name in most cases of two-part countries (e.g., Trinidad and Tobago, St. Kitts and Nevis), but there are exceptions (St. Vincent, even without the Grenadines...) and I'm not sure there's a principled approach that explains it. For now, I've stuck with the Sporcle norms, pretty much, but I invite further discussion of the issue. |
