| Good idea, quick, easy, simple. I'd say lower the time limit to one minute just to make it more challenging. :) |

| Like it. I wonder if people can't spell Rhode? |

| Hard to read. The green's too dark. |

| The color scheme is all I can complain about. Good and simple. |

| I know them all, but keep failing due to my crap typing skills, I just can't type quick enough :( |

| This isn't so much of a geography quiz, as it is a typing challenge. :-) |

| 30 seconds? - All of us hunt-and-peckers have no chance. |

| Got all 10. Not to hard considered half of them are North-South, etc. But for some reason the quiz didn't end when I typed in all 10 answers but the clock stopped. I had to give up myself. Dont know if thats a problem with the quiz or my browser though |

| Hey you forgot East Virginia! (yes I'm kidding!!!) |
 | Gufrias: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 19:48 GMT | | 64 points |
| I just can't type that fast. |
 | iglew: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 20:02 GMT | | 31 points |
| Thirty seconds?? I was about two keystrokes short of typing the last one when the time ran out. If I had realized the time limit was so short I would have typed faster at the beginning, but I didn't know it was possible to be less than one minute. |

| These 30 second quizzes are brutal. |
 | pixon: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 20:19 GMT | | 61 points |
| Time limit makes this a typing challenge than a geography challenge |
 | midnightdj: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 20:19 GMT | | 74 points |
| Not a fan of these 30 second quizzes. Mostly just typing challenges, and I don't see much fun in that. |

| 30 seconds is necessary for this one, in my opinion. Otherwise, you can just slowly recite them alphabetically (I know you've all memorized that song) and everyone would be at 100%. This way, you have to think quickly! |
 | spoyledbratt: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 21:25 GMT | | 23 points |
| I was taking my time until I realize this quiz only has 30 seconds lol |
 | montylaw: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 21:27 GMT | | 27 points |
| Agree with all of the above - so frustrating to know the answers but lack the ability to type them in time. |
 | rockgolf: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 21:43 GMT | | 39 points |
| Well I just found out I can't type 40 wpm. |
 | thgil: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 21:51 GMT | | 35 points |
| 1 minute would be a more logical time limit to keep it challenging but more about geography than typing. |

| Technically, Rhode Island's official name is 5 words long: Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. In fact, that'd be an interesting one-item quiz if it's not out there already. |
 | demonopie: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 22:59 GMT | | 31 points |
| Typing challenges belong elsewhere. |
 | JennyMarie: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 23:06 GMT | | 4 points |
| Whilst I'm generally a fan of 30 second quizzes, and I think they can be great if used properly, I'm not sure it's the best time limit for this quiz. I'm sure it's pretty well impossible for a non-professional typist to get 100% in this! |
 | Zak6009: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 23:18 GMT | | 10 points |
| Did 30 seconds just recently become an option? I could have sworn the minimum it let me give for a quiz was a minute... |
 | MattVernon: | Sep 7th, 2012 at 23:52 GMT | | 1 point |
| I don't consider myself a hugely fast typer but I did it with 4 seconds to spare and this despite having a mini-freakout with 18 seconds left having named all the 'direction' states and Rhode Island. Then 'New-' popped into my head! Phew. |

| Hopefully this new 30-second time limit thing is just a Sporcle "fad". |
 | tripp1313: | Sep 8th, 2012 at 01:29 GMT | | 8 points |
| 30 second quizzes be damned! |
 | senordingdong: | Sep 8th, 2012 at 02:29 GMT | | 8 points |
| I feel quite embarrassed that I forgot the state that I have lived in all my life. |
 | MetaphysicalMan: | Sep 8th, 2012 at 02:35 GMT | | -3 points |
| How would a quiz about naming the two-word states be a challenge otherwise? Time limit was good. |
 | Pogues: | Sep 8th, 2012 at 04:15 GMT | | 1 point |
| Time limit was fine...and I'm by no means a "professional typist." Brain, however, failed me with one answer to go and 10 seconds left. |
 | BonnieH: | Sep 8th, 2012 at 13:12 GMT | | 1 point |
| Damn Rhode Island. |
 | 4thandinches: | Sep 8th, 2012 at 13:14 GMT | | 1 point |
| Even after knowing the answers, I finally got this challenge BARELY completed after about 10 tries. This is a nothing more than a typing challenge like the above posters mentioned, and thus, an awful quiz. |
 | wordgirly: | Sep 8th, 2012 at 16:21 GMT | | 5 points |
| This isn't even fun. It's not about what you know, it's about already knowing and beating the clock. Thumbs way down. |
 | Beanz57: | Sep 8th, 2012 at 17:53 GMT | | 2 points |
| I think a minute would be fair enough here, 30 seconds is just not quite enough |
 | yoody: | Sep 8th, 2012 at 19:21 GMT | | 2 points |
| 30 seconds should not be possible to make a quiz. I get 5/10 just about every time, so 1 minute would be perfect. There should be a category on Sporcle for typing challenges like this. |
