Excellent! I loved it!
Jan 12th, 2010 at 07:06 GMT
fantastic! way to tie in world capitals to the ever popular before and after style quiz
Jan 12th, 2010 at 09:01 GMT
Nice! May I suggest Manamaputo? Nice addition to Doharare, I believe.
Jan 12th, 2010 at 09:16 GMT
Nice quiz, once i figured out what was going on, maybe make the instructions a little clearer.
Jan 12th, 2010 at 14:31 GMT
Interesting quiz. I noticed on a couple of them that I had to type a space after I finished typing the capitals. Am I the only one this happened to? could be my pc.
Jan 12th, 2010 at 15:26 GMT
This was funny; I liked imagining there being cities with names like "Ottawarsaw."
Jan 12th, 2010 at 16:29 GMT
Love this. If you expanded the scope of the quiz to world cities, you could get even wackier combos.
Jan 12th, 2010 at 16:58 GMT
yerevantananarivo; tarawarsaw; katmandushanbe;

Great quiz. Could probably knock 1 or 2 minutes off to make it a bit more challenging. Paramaribogota?
Jan 12th, 2010 at 17:31 GMT
Just when you think that the Before and After is played out, here comes a fresh and interesting approach. Well done.

@Mayan: Manamaputo might make the person saying it sound like he's calling himself a mean name (Man, I'm a p---). The --- would mean uto.

Jan 13th, 2010 at 04:34 GMT
Great quiz! Though it would be helpful if the instructions explained that it accepts eg "Ottawarsaw" and not "Ottawa Warsaw". I'm glad it forces us to do it the first way, though, as it's much cooler...
Jan 13th, 2010 at 04:39 GMT
Seoulan Bator Romexico City Minskopje :D
Jan 13th, 2010 at 07:49 GMT
Colombogota, Cairome, Muscathens.
Jan 13th, 2010 at 15:40 GMT
Well, there are many options left (like Oslondon and evertything mentioned before), but it's already a really nice quiz. I really like Yerevantananarivo!!
Jan 13th, 2010 at 20:03 GMT
I'm building my city on rock and roll ... and i'm naming it Yerevantananarivo!! :)
Jan 14th, 2010 at 00:01 GMT

Jan 14th, 2010 at 02:13 GMT
LOL, i wonder what it would be like to visit amsterdamascus
Jan 14th, 2010 at 06:00 GMT
Wow, I just thought of: "Sri Jayawardenepura-kottegucigalpa" (Sri Lanka's Admin capital combined with Honduras' capital). Ouch.
Jan 14th, 2010 at 09:28 GMT
Truly inspired quiz-setting. Dublinyoface!
Jan 14th, 2010 at 11:57 GMT
others to consider: venezuela --> saint lucia = caracastries slovakia --> liechetenstein = bratislavaduz
Jan 14th, 2010 at 17:37 GMT
AHAHAHAH Addis Ababandar Seri Begawan funniset thing ever! i love it!
Jan 14th, 2010 at 21:11 GMT
Good suggestions ssmitty. And as awesome as Escaho's is, I don't think I'm gonna use that one.
Jan 14th, 2010 at 21:18 GMT
Excellent quiz - and, as has been demonstrated, plenty of scope for a sequel!
Jan 14th, 2010 at 22:11 GMT
How come Bratislavaduz and Caracastries are so very unknown (18% for all others while I write this)? I got those while I missed two others... Nice quiz, and for once the Netherlands are in the top of most guessed answers :)
Jan 15th, 2010 at 00:03 GMT
I just recently added those two.
Jan 15th, 2010 at 00:56 GMT
I think we should go for a before, after and even more after, like Cairomexico City. Or longer: Lusakatmandushanbelmopankarabathens (7), or Helsinkinshasan Marinouakchottawashington (6).
Jan 15th, 2010 at 01:25 GMT
Great quiz. Very fun - it makes you smile. I would love to live in a city called Addis Ababandar Seri Begawan. :D My personal favourite was Lilongwellington though. I imagine a two metre long wellington boot.
Jan 15th, 2010 at 17:46 GMT
Fun and quite creative!
Jan 15th, 2010 at 21:17 GMT
great fun. most of the names would actually sound pretty good if they were real.
Jan 16th, 2010 at 01:42 GMT
Could have Chad & Eritrea N'djamenasmara
Jan 16th, 2010 at 01:44 GMT
Or even better Tegucigalpalikir - Honduras & Micronesia
Jan 16th, 2010 at 01:46 GMT
One final one - Yamoussoukroseau - Ivory Coast & Dominica
