You should accept "st kitts and nevis". I guess my other problems were mostly about spelling.

If your intent was for the answers to be in alphabetical order, you've swapped Zaire and Bohemia. And I'm sure somebody's going to say something about Yugoslavia being broken up, not renamed, but I don't know all the details on that one.

This would be much better if it weren't in alphabetical order. Hit "randomize answers" on the create screen.

I like it. And Yugoslavia was broken, and reformed with a different name. Before they stupidly called themselves Macedonia, they were FYROM. Look it up. I don't know all the details either, but there's no issue with it being here.

Yugoslavia became serbia, bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia and I think Albania too, now kosovo and Montenegro have also split away. Also you should allow DRC and didn't indonesia used to be called Dutch East Indies

As far as I'm aware Vietnam was not known as French Indochina. Even though Vietnam was under French control it was not named French Indochina until Cambodia became a French protectorate. Laos was a later addition. So I suggest either accepting Cambodia as an answer, or including it in the answer, or leaving it out entirely.

JasonJP: What's so stupid about them being Macedonia? After all, FYROM stood for "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia;" all they did was drop the prefixes.

Agreed about St Kitts and Nevis and DRC--those are usually acceptable on geography quizzes.

What about Burkina Faso (used to be Upper Volta)?

Good quiz -- but like ptmanager I was surprised not to see Burkina Faso. And it's a little odd to equate Yugoslavia only with Serbia. Can you accept the present-day countries that were also part of Yugoslavia? They are Bosnia and Herzegovina; Croatia; Kosovo; Macedonia; Montenegro; and Slovenia. @goody: Albania wasn't part of Yugoslavia.
