You probably could've kept it going: Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi; Miss., Tennessee and Alabama; Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia, etc.

@Morbo: You can't keep it going following the above rules (dropping the first state) as you are left with Texas and Louisiana rather than Arkansas and Louisiana. Allowing either of the previous states would be interesting and allow for a longer chain but would be a different quiz.

If you add the rule that the chain stops if there is more than one possible answer, then each chain is uniquely defined by the identity and order of the first two states. Try it for yourself! I'd be interested to see which two states result in the longest chain.

I think you should make it longer if possible, even if that means a sequel quiz, because this one was fun. Or maybe take away a minute because I was stumped a few times but still managed to finish with a minute left. But I really enjoyed it!

I've reduced the time by a minute. There's certainly scope for a longer future quiz. I think I'll keep this one short and sweet.

Arbitrarychoice, you misspelled stripjoint. Otherwise, nice quiz.

@arbitraychoice: Ah, didn't realize that we were dropping the first state. Makes sense, then.

I just HATE to admit this, but while it seems easy enough and I would have gotten it, the time ticked away on me and I resorted to looking at a map! Don't give me a thumbs down for being honest ...it was tougher than it looked at first glance! Good job, well done
