If you start in the Aleutian Islands (Alaska) and go southeast, pass between South America and Antarctica, you get to Mozambique and Madagascar. If you pass between them you get to the Comoros, to Pakistan and to the western tip of India.
You can also get to Madagascar if you start in Southern California, go southwest and pass between Australia and New Zealand.
Starting in San Diego, going southwest and passing between New Zealand and Antarctica, as close to the coast of Antarctica as possible, it might be possible to get to Somalia. |
