	hunt-peck is what people do on keyboards that don't know how to type and don't know the keyboard layout. Typically you see them using one or two pointer fingers to type with. So, look for the next letter (hunt) then hit it (peck).

	It is definitely sol, hence the term for the sight-singing technique, which in Italian is solfeggio, or in French is solfege. In both of those names, the roots are the syllables sol and fa.

	A sot is a drunkard. Hunt and peck is the system that non-typists use to find the letters. The elderly who are around today do not normally use flint and steel to start a fire, but it will work.

	"Sol" and "So" are both correct. If you're following the original version created by Guido d'Arezzo in the middle ages, it's "sol." If you're following the "tonic sol-fa" version, created by Sarah Ann Glover in the 1800s (and often taught in Anglicized countries), it's "so."
