@Tahnan - It was really tricky to write clues short enough to fit the boxes so that they remained in a cell with a height of one line of text. Most of these clues worked at any size font that I used (I changed the sizes within my browser by holding CTRL and pressing + or -), but I didn't realize it would be altered in different browers (I'm currently on Chrome). You bring up a good suggestion for clues, though. I think that may solve the problems I had with the 6-column limits if I executed it the right way!
@rockgolf - Thanks, but your crosswords are AMAZING! I feel odd being told my puzzle's better than the guy who wrote that awesome "Elementary Crosswords" puzzle...especially BY the guy who wrote it! For the near future, I'm guessing another puzzle in this style would be a fine idea! |
