	Interesting to note that the fact that 20 states allow this type of marriage while 30 states do not has done nothing to undermine the institution of marriage. Perhaps there is a lesson here???

	in some of the southern states they made it illegal because marriage between close relatives was causing too many problems in families with genetic disorders. weird theyd make laws involving DNA while they like to ignore a lot about dna in the south

	ah, i see. in the restricted states, first cousins can only marry if they're over 65 years old, or if one is infertile. so, first cousins can only marry if definitely no babies will result from it.
