I stopped as soon as I randomly guessed #7... and how the hell are the Beach Boys as low as they are? Rolling Stone is a rag.

Great quiz. Horrid list. Where are the Everly Brothers, Sly & the Family Stone, The Brother Johnson, Pointer Sisters, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Gladys Knight & the Pips, The Four Tops, even Nickelback?

What !? No Jonas Brothers ?! I'm shocked ! I mean, with this list, I would've expected them to be in the top 5.

Please allow for accepting of last names. If you know one brother or sister, odds are you know who the other one is.

Thanks for putting the quiz together. On the bright side, at least Rolling Stone chose a few bands from after the Nixon Administration -- hey, for them, that's progress. But beyond that...um, yeah. I'm glad to see that I wasn't misspelling "Isley", "Everly", "Pointer", and "Pips" over and over.

The Rolling Stones should be ashamed for making that list. Some crappy bands on this list and they leave out Bee Gees, The Everly Brothers, The White Stripes and even Good Charlotte. And I hope this list is not in order (no way Hanson is better than the Beach Boys)

@brownstown511: Jack and Meg White are not brother and sister. They're ex-husband and ex-wife.

i'm pretty sure that the numbers are not Rolling Stone's ranking of the bands. It's a user submitted collection of pictures. The beach Boys are the 20th picture, not the 20th best sibling band.

Great Quiz. I'm an idiot. Missing Beach Boys, Heart, and CCR?? I missed some other ones that I went "oh yeah" when seeing, but no excuse for those. And hey... what about those loveable Osmonds???

This quiz gets a win in my book for including the Jesus and Mary Chain... even if they are three spots behind Hanson.

Any list which includes Hanson but omits The National and Arcade Fire has something wrong with it

Rolling Stone is beyond the limits of mere musical snobbery. How on earth could the Bee Gees or the Everly Brothers not be on this list? Too poppy for these morons, I guess. Hanson made it, I see. Why not Nelson and the DeFranco Family then? Typical of these types of intellectuals: don't let the facts get in your way of distorting reality! A strong case could certainly be made for The Carpenters, Earth Wind & Fire and The Osmonds as well.

Is this Rolling Stone's List? Or is it Reader's List? I have a feeling this is actually reader's list.
