JY for Styx? And: brace yourself for the Sir Paul fans.
Jan 9th, 2013 at 04:36 GMT
To be fair, I feel John and Paul had equal vocals early on. But you're absolutely right about JY. While he *is* the only original member still touring, he's more the lead guitarist than lead vocalist. For all intents and purposes, Styx' lead vocalist is Dennis DeYoung.

You're right, it was the wrong call on the various Styx vocalists, so its been changed.

Thanks Spacemaniac. These were the first matching quizzes I've done and I didn't even realize I could do that.

It should be Ian Gillan, not Gillian.

I am one of those Sir Paul fans JWJr asked you to brace yourself for. Because John was not the lead singer. I would agree that in total, John sang the most Beatles songs, but to call him the lead singer is completely unfair to Paul who sang almost as many.

I don't disagree shelton. There are a bunch of bands on the list where there were one or more lead singers I could have chosen. I generally went with the most famous or the one who sang lead most often (where I could figure that out). Since the point of the game is match the singer to the band, it shouldn't matter much. Either John or Paul would have been good choices for the Beatles, just like either Henley or Frey would have been good choices for the Eagles.

Brian Wilson was in no way the lead singer.

I would agree that you could include either John or Paul as the leas singer of the Beatles, but if there is a question (like the Eagles), why not leave them out? There's plenty of classic rock bands that you could include where the lead singer is not in question: the Cars, Them, Cheap Trick, Blondie, The Ramones, Bad Company, Mott the Hoople, Steppenwolf, Blue Oyster Cult, Sex Pistols, etc.

Missed only one and I feel like the 2007 Patriots. Sure are a lot of groups (Beatles, Mac, Floyd, Genesis) who used multiple "lead singers" but it's simple enough
