You are missing the Cisalpine Republic, which was a major state in northern Italy, as well as the Duchy of Parma, which was occupied by France, but not annexed until 1802, and the Republic of Lucca, which continued until 1805. Also, if you're doing personal unions and such, how does "Austrian Empire" make sense? Much of Austria was within the Holy Roman Empire, and the parts that were not were no more closely connected with one another than Norway was with Denmark, or Ireland with Great Britain. |
