| I remember when this first came out. I LOVED this list and the other lists that came out around it- top artists a couple years earlier (1- Beatles, 2- Stones, 3- Jimi, 4- Led Zeppelin, 5- Dylan, 6- J Brown, 7- Bowie, 8- Elvis (kinda low for Elvis, no??), 9- The Who, 10- The Police) and albums, not sure if it was a little bit before or after (1- Revolver, 2 and 3- Nevermind, Pet Sounds, forget which is which, 4- What's Going On). I remember downloading the list in order. We call all argue what is missing, what is too high/too low. That's 1/2 the fun of lists and countdowns- arguing about it! |
