| i've made a few changes to reflect some of the comments. spelling mistakes and accents should have been taken care of. i didn't put louis 14 as the rigth answer since, even in english, roman numerals are the norms for monarchs. i didn't change the answer for philippe leclerc; yes, he's known as maréchal leclerc in france,but his proper name was philippe leclerc de hauteclocque so i think my answer is a good compromise :)
and, i am sad to report, french people seem to like singers and actors more than other important people, sigh. i'm trying to find another list which would be a little less humiliating to the french. |
