Oh, man, virtually perfect!
Just one leeetle fix. At 8:30, you're using the right spelling of the first word, but it actually is misspelled in the song title("y" instead of "ies"). The "y" version should display, but accept the "ies" spelling as an alternate.

I wholeheartedly agree with @rockgolf on the execution… the near-flawlessness was so enjoyable to experience, especially the attention you paid to keeping the volume levels consistent through all the segues. A couple notes if you want to put a neat bow on it, but don't affect the play of the game: The song at 3:42 peaked at #18 (Billboard Hot 100)… and the songs at 0:48, 6:42, and 8:18 are by the proper acts, but the single releases were under "unevolved" band names.

Never would've gotten "The Streak" if not for the line "and he ain't wearing no clothes". :)

Love this! Fun, nostalgic quizzes like yours remind me of songs I need to buy. Thanks! And, of course, I can't wait to see more! Please tell me you'll do this for every decade!!! And since there's so many songs to choose from, you could do sequels (like 1970-1974 Part II)! I better stop myself before I get too excited :)

I kept having to stop to sing the songs out and then just kept singing them! Finally remembered I was taking a quiz. that's what stinks about these clip quizzes, I just want the song to keep going! Great job.

totally awesome! takes me back to being 10 years old listening to American Top 40 and trying to record songs with my cassette player by sticking the microphone next to the speaker:). Outstanding.....

Thank you, @ambient. What a sad memory, though, to recall that there was once a time when I could turn on my radio and hear Dr. John, the Jackson 5, Cat Stevens, Steve Miller, the Chi-Lites, Stevie Wonder, the many faces of Tony Burrows, Joni Mitchell and Steely Dan...all without having to change stations. Well done.

Terrific quiz ... but please, for the love of Og, people: leave a couple of seconds between the clips. Give the player's brain a chance to run ahead, and their hands a chance to finish typing it in, before the next clue comes marauding in. PLEASE!

Absolutely thorougly enjoyed this quiz! Like others who commented earlier, this music takes me back to my childhood. I had to laugh when I read that rustybear used to put the microphone next to the radio to tape songs from the radio. Me too. I have many of these tunes on 45s/LPs and a few are on CDs. Thanks for provoking such wonderful memories!
