echidna, not echinda, and it's French Polynesia, not Polynesia

You probably mean either turron or churros for the Spanish food. If turros exist, I've never heard of them.

And if there is, in fact, a source, who the hell was being quizzed? It certainly couldn't have been the general public - no way would more than one person out of 100 in the general population (in the US or anywhere else in the world) have chosen echidna over kangaroo or koala. Also, you should accept Saint Maarten and Sint Maarten as alternate answers. Yes, that's using Dutch spelling rather than French one, but it's a common (if not exactly accurate) way to spell the French Territory.

You should accept "Dem Rep of the Congo". All of the other geography quizzes do.

You expect me to believe that contestants on a game show were even aware that any of these things exist? Also, you need to accept "French Polynesia" which is the official name of the territory.

What I find the hardest to believe is that that out of 100 people, they'd only suggest 6 different English counties. Definitely fabricated.

I'm suprised that Nigeria was not listed in the African countries. It's the most populous country in Africa and the 8'th most populous in the entire world.

Lthayer3 not only that they could only name 6 but that greater london would come up and lancashire wouldnt, i mean every school child in england is taught about the war of the roses. So if its not fabricated a) wheres the source and b) who was questionned because some of the answers were wierd who would pick echidna over emu or tasmanian devil

2 things... 1) It's technically Himalaya (no s ending), which is both singular and plural. so 2) You should accept Himalaya as an answer even if you don't make the change.

I'm not as skeptical as others are - the answers seem plausible to me, if surprising (really only the counties one seems odd, surprising that any counties would dominate that much) - but it'd still be nice to see an explanation of the sample used.

Cool idea, but terrible execution. Either you completely made these numbers up, or you polled some really weird people. Also, French Guiana is not a territory of France; it's an overseas department, which is different.

Why do they all add up to 100? Did nobody say anything else? I guess you have taken the top answers and then given percentages just out of those answers.

Also agree that "turros" is probably either "turron" or "churros" and would also comment that "tapas" is not a food, but a method of serving food. Tortilla or chorizo could also be a tapa, as could many other dishes.

Pablo: No it isn't, that was an entirely different colony in West Africa. This quiz is awful anyway, as numerous others have commented the results are very strange, and some of the answers are just wrong (e.g. 'turros', whatever they may be.) Lancashire, jamón, Nigeria, Kenya etc surely should have come up...
