mcyams2 : Apr 3rd, 2012 at 05:37 GMT 1 point Joakim Noah averaged over 10+ rebounds in 09-10 and 10-11
JCHAN09 : Apr 3rd, 2012 at 07:24 GMT 1 point Andrea Bargnani*
brez002 : Apr 3rd, 2012 at 15:15 GMT 2 points Did players just have to average 10+ rebounds for one year or for all their years in the 2000s or what? I know it says players had to qualify for the rebounding title but I wasn't positive what that meant.
alidarjarok : Apr 3rd, 2012 at 16:00 GMT 1 point It has to be any one season with a minimum amount of games, averaging 10+ rebounds per game.
Noah didn't have enough games to qualify. He played 64 games one season, takes 65 to qualify. I'll take him out as a wrong answer to make it a bit less nitpicky though.
stiggles37 : Apr 4th, 2012 at 00:24 GMT 0 points Yao, Bynum and Kaman have averaged over 10 rebounds in a game. Yao did it twice, in 2005-06 and in 2007-08, Bynum did it in 2007-08, and Kaman did it in 2007-08. Also don't have Joakim Noah (2009-10 and 2010-11), Andrew Bogut (2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11), Shareef Abdur-Rahim (1999-2000), Charles Barkley (1999-2000), Earl Barron (2009-10), Andris Biedrins (2008-09), Reggie Evans (2010-11), Kenyon Martin (2006-07), Tyrone Hill (2001-02), and Dennis Rodman (1999-2000)
stiggles37 : Apr 4th, 2012 at 00:32 GMT 0 points Also, I'd suggest you include DeMarcus Cousins and Anderson Varejao they're on pace to do it this year
alidarjarok : Apr 4th, 2012 at 15:47 GMT 1 point The minimum is 800 rebounds in a season. Yao hit 10+ in 2 seasons, but only getting 581 and 594. So he doesn't qualify. Bogut got it three times like you said, but never got more than 720 total due to injuries. Bynum only had 356 in his 10+ season. Barron only had 77 rebounds the whole season. Kaman 711. Biedrins 693. Evans 345. Martin 20. Hill 274. Barkley, Rodman and Abrur-Rahim didn't qualify because the game is the 2000-2001 season and beyond.
alidarjarok : Apr 4th, 2012 at 15:48 GMT 1 point And I'm not including this season until its over.
