I'm happy to be corrected, but I thought that most of these were credited as collaborative efforts with other band members (and at least one with Brian Eno), and certainly a fair numner of them usually wrote in partnerships. It's also quite subjective, any rock and roll lyrics quiz ignoring Holland Dozier and Holland is deeply flawed

I was hoping to see Cobain, Bernie Taupin, Ian Curtis, David Bowie, and Leonard Cohen. but idk much about lyricism so... but anyway I was really happy to see Fagen, Young, and Stipe
