"robinson" doesn't work. I suppose you didn't want one guess (that I was pretty sure of) giving 2 answers, but I had no idea that I'd need a first name when last names only work for the others.

Same here. I quit when it did not accept Robinson. Quizzes should specify when they require first names.

It's interesting to see Frank Robinson on this list: the other guys were mainly known for their defense, and were able to hang around long enough to accumulate the at-bats without hitting too much, but Frank was a legitimately great hitter who just barely made the at-bats cutoff.

I adjusted the Frank Robinson answer (the more obvious answer) with a hint about the other Robinson. You are right, I didn't want someone getting an easy two on such a short quiz.

You don't get 10,000 AB's unless you're a darned good hitter, or as Cornelius stated, are a defensive whiz (who also swing a pretty good stick). It's amazing that of the 25 players to amass that many at bats, only five didn't reach the magical 3000 hit plateau.
