	"pbgv" should be an acceptable answer for Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen. The acronym is a fairly common usage for that breed.

	I agree, there needs to be a little more leeway in whats accepted. I should not have to type terrier every single time...among others...Spitz for Finnish Spitz, Bouvier for Bouvier des Flandres..etc etc etc

	So many of these need to be more flexible. Sheepdog or English Sheepdog should have worked without the "Old"...Malamute should have been enough without "Alaskan", Shar Pei without "Chinese"...I got about 30, but there were quite a few more breeds I knew, but didn't know had such precise names.

	I probably could have gotten 150 of these when I was going through my "dog phase" when I was in third grade. I think more time would be acceptable.

	a little dissapointed my 'rat terrier' wasn't up there. I'll have to talk to the AKC about that

	I typed Old English Sheep Dog and Bull Dog and it didn't take them. That seems harsh. Sheep Dog, sheepdog, who cares?

	So many annoying comments lately. Sporcle must be getting popular, I guess. This quiz is ok but it felt like a lot of dogs were missing- I guess they aren't recognised. Like, Jack Russell Terrier for example. I only got 36 but I gave up early and have trouble spelling most of them! :P

	A couple of people have mentioned that the Jack Russell Terrier isn't listed. Isn't the official name of the Jack Russell the Parson Russell Terrier?

	The AKC changed the Jack Russell Terrier's name to Parson Russell Terrier a few years back. I thought this was a fun quiz, and I like that putting in the entire, correct name is required, makes it more challenging. The Old English Sheepdog, Labrador Retriever, Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, etc, etc, are the official names in the AKC, so naturally that's what should be put down. But I agree that there should be more time for this one. I got about 95 breeds down, then time ran out on me.

	Please, please, please give more time. Even if one is typing constantly, it's too much to fit in 12 minutes. If you don't want to give more time, please consider abbreviations like Yorkie or Scottie. Or don't make it mandatory to type "terrier" after all 25+ terriers, etc. Most of these dogs have two or more words in their name. I always run out of time while I still am thinking of lots of breeds. I really want to try and get them all.

	Overall - loved the quiz. As with others, could have used much more time. Got a bit frustrated at the requirement of "Cardigan" or "Pembroke" before Welsh Corgi and "White" West Highland Terrier, since I got the common names, but not the specifics. No Jack Russell, but a "Parson" Russell, no English Bulldog? I understand that the a.k.c. wants to raise awareness, but we're not all breeders, and could use a little wiggle room.
