	Having to type "university of" for every answer really gets old. You should just accept "Michigan" for UM, "Wisconsin" for UW, etc.

	@tmugford21 - No, it is the University of Kansas, just like it's the University of Colorado. The nicknames of KU and CU are what are nonsensical. Pretty sure they do exist.

	I think it would be reasonable to say Florida is a better school than Miami. US News disagrees, but it tends to give inordinately high rankings to mediocre private research universities for rich kids who couldn't get into the ivy leagues as compared to good public schools, since the private schools have so much more money.

	College of Southern Nevada? That's a community college. Surely actual research universities like the two University of Nevada campuses are superior, even if they're pretty awful as public research universities go.

	Is this universities or colleges? If universities, then Dartmouth is a college and ought not to be here. If colleges, how on earth can you put Case over Oberlin? University of Minnesota over Carleton or Macalester? Good grief!!

	UF is one of the best public schools in the country (behind Cal-Berkeley, UNC, MIchigan ect). No way is Miami better. God, Mississippi State is the worst school in the south. Ole Miss actually excells in some things, while their in-state counterpart blows

	@Abef - Dartmouth is a university. It merely goes by "Dartmouth College" for historical and nostalgic reasons.

	The problem is that US News ranks colleges and universities in separate lists. And since not every state is represented in the top rankings (some relegated to "tiers" in which there is no actual ranking among the listed schools) this is a poor source all around.

	I think you really need to cite a source for this quiz. The prompt to name the "best" is really ambiguous. Best academically? If so, according to whom? Alumni have drastically different opinions than US News. I've heard Bostonians argue that Boston College is better than Harvard. Also, to create less confusion, maybe reword it so it asks for "colleges and universities." People tend to be confused about which is which, especially when universities call themselves colleges, like Dartmouth.

	Harvard - great place to network for jobs after graduation. Only above average place to get an education. Dozens of better places, US News rankings aside.
